The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) is comprised of Walden residents with the necessary skills and background to ensure that Walden's deed restrictions are applied fairly and consistently.
Administered by the general manager and the deed restriction officer, the committee meets every week to review plans which are submitted for approval.
When building a house or making any repairs, alteration or additions to the exterior of your home or property, you must submit your plans for ACC approval with an ACC form. Please click here to obtain the form. Print it out, complete it and return to the Walden Administration Office with the supporting documentation it asks for. To help you with your project, Walden has Design Guidelines, please click here to view or print to review it at a later date.
We also provide a Builders Guideline and Submission Packet for new homes. Please click here for it. With this packet please review the Design Guidelines above.
The ACC meets each Tuesday. Call Myra Scott at (936) 582-2910 for information regarding ACC applications and fees.
If you have a background in architecture, construction or engineering and would like to volunteer your time to the ACC, please contact the General Manager at (936) 582-1622.
